
The European Biomass Association (AEBIOM) is a non profit Brussels-based international organisation founded in 1990 whose mission is to represent bioenergy at EU level. AEBIOM brings together 33 national associations from all over Europe. From 2007 it has offered companies the opportunity to become more heavily involved by accepting them as associate members. AEBIOM, with its 33 national associations, indirectly represents more than 4000 members including companies, research centers and individuals.

The Renewable Energy Association (REA) represents the UK's renewable energy industry, covering all renewable power, heat and fuels. It represent a wide variety of organisations, including generators, project developers, fuel and power suppliers, equipment producers and service providers. Members range in size from major multinationals to sole traders. REA membership topped 570 at the end of 2008, making it by far the largest renewable energy industry association in the UK.

The European Biomass Industry Association (EUBIA), was established in 1996
as an international non profit association in Brussels, Belgium. It groups
together market forces, technology providers, and knowledge centres, all of
them active in the field of biomass. EUBIA's main objective is to support European biomass industries at all levels, promoting the use of biomass as an energy source, developing innovative bioenergy concepts and fostering international co-operation within the bioenergy field.
Founded in 2005,
eBio serves as the voice of the European bioethanol fuel industry, providing advocacy, authoritative analysis and important industry
data to its members, the European Institutions, strategic partners,
the media and other opinion leaders.
