The winner of this year's award for Impact project/investment of the year for education is LemmaTree, an investment firm founded by Temasek, which was recognised for its ongoing partnership with India's Schoolnet Group.

Over the past 18 months, the partnership with Schoolnet has expanded to focus on artificial intelligence-driven software-led education solutions for teaching, learning, and assessments, launched Geneo Innovation Labs dedicated to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) and robotics education, and deployed statewide Learning Management Systems across government schools in multiple states, embedded with digital content in regional languages.

This collaboration has achieved comprehensive curriculum coverage and strengthened digital inclusion across multiple public and private systems in India.

It is reported that the ongoing partnership has enabled Schoolnet to reach 25 million first-time digital learners across 100,000 schools, with gender diversity and representation from disadvantaged groups.
