The ChinaBond Pricing Center (CBPC) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Central Depository & Clearing (CCDC) as well as a benchmark pricing platform of the Chinese financial market built by CCDC.

Notably, CBPC led the drafting of the Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) Evaluation Framework for Bond Issuers (GB/T 46912-2025), which has now been officially implemented as China's first national ESG evaluation standard in the financial sector.

Through this effort, CBPC closely tracked China's latest policy, drew on international best practices, and integrated local market experience to translate macro-level national policies into a unified, quantifiable evaluation framework, addressing the challenge of fragmented ESG evaluation standards in emerging markets.

Furthermore, CBPC has established the ChinaBond ESG Basic Information Database, the nation’s first cross-market ESG data platform, providing comprehensive coverage across both bond and equity markets.

In awarding the prize for Data provider of the year – APAC, the judges gave amongst their reasons the fact that CBPC had drafted the first national China ESG evaluation and that it had had a high impact in reshaping the Asian market through its innovation and strong infrastructure. They also praised its “very interesting” concept and novel and innovative approach.
