The firm pointed to its role within the continent in providing sustainability data and analytics for fixed-income markets, which are backed by the firm's methodologies, data structures, and delivery model. These, in turn, are all in alignment with the European regulatory frameworks such as the EU Taxonomy, Article 8 and 9 product classification, climate-aligned benchmarks, and the EU Green Bond Standard.

It was also notable how the firm has positioned itself as an originator of data, producing its own bond and issuer-level assessments through analyst review rather than through aggregating third-party inputs.

Another factor from the awards eligibility period was the firm's demonstrated ability to support large institutional investors with practical implementation of sustainability frameworks, drawing on its originated data and analyst expertise.

Through engagements in both public and private markets, Sustainable Fitch has enabled clients to interpret regulatory requirements, embed sustainability insights into investment processes, and launch new strategies efficiently, reflecting the scalability and real-world applicability of its offering.
