South Pole - South Pole TCFD advisory, SDG impact and Net Zero
What data do you provide?
South Pole supports clients to understand how their operations and lending, equity and fixed income investments are exposed to climate change. We assist companies and investors with all data, insights and services required to establish a high-quality TCFD report. Through climate risk data analytics we assist clients both in measuring and disclosing portfolio exposure to climate-related risks and identify opportunities arising from the transition to a low-carbon, climate-resilient economy. Furthermore, we are a strategic advisor to investors with varying approaches to ESG investing by informing ESG-aligned investment strategies, engagement efforts, and decision making with a focus on climate change. Finally, we also provide advisory and analytics covering carbon, water, forests, energy, plastics and the environment-related Sustainable Development Goals.
Where and how do you source your data?
South Pole’s climate-related risk tool includes data on vulnerability, hazard and exposure as well as forward-looking scenarios to assess both physical and transition risks. Data sources include publicly available information from a range of sources including intergovernmental organisations, non-governmental organisations, institutions and academia.
