Where and how do you source your data?
Underlying data for the calculated portfolio ESG, Product Involvement and Carbon metrics comes from Sustainalytics. Their research team of over 230 analysts conducts a comprehensive review of all companies within the research universe. The data assessed is compiled from both publicly available data (Annual/Quarterly company reports, Sustainability Reports, Company Websites, etc.) and data owned by third parties. In the case of any new controversial events or updates to existing events, our analysts review the Controversy aspects of the research – this is published on a fortnightly basis. In case of a major Controversy, Sustainalytics aims to update Controversy assessments within 24-48 hours. The Controversy research process is based on a daily screen of over 60,000 news and media source, specialized publications and non-government organizations.
