Climate Policy Initiative - Global Landscape of Climate Finance
Brief description of the data offering
The Global Landscape of Climate Finance (the Landscape) is the most comprehensive overview of global climate-related primary investment, a key stocktake that informs high-level policy processes including the IPCC and the UNFCCC Standing Committee on Finance. The report analyses climate finance committed in the last two years prior to publication, assessing flows along their lifecycles from sources and intermediaries through to how finance is ultimately used on the ground. Since its first iteration in 2011, the biennial Landscape has become the flagship report of Climate Policy Initiative, an analysis and advisory organisation with deep expertise in finance and policy that helps governments, businesses and financial institutions drive economic growth while addressing climate change.
