Brief description of the data offering
Util brings impact data to public markets, revealing the degree to which any investment both positively and negatively contributes toward the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), 169 sub-targets, and 2,000 sustainability concepts. Three features set it apart. First, specificity: We reveal every social and environmental externality, and both the positive and negative degrees of impact, so investors can engage on a granular level. Second, scientific: We don’t rely on company disclosures or analyst views, instead aggregating peer-reviewed conclusions about business activities, so investors can trust our conclusions. Third, scope: We evaluate every listed company—nearly 45,000 of them—so our data can be used by global investors, including those in underserved small caps and EMs.
