In response to its continuous growth, IÉSEG School of Management is looking for two professors in SUSTAINABLE FINANCE, with an expertise in one of the following: climate risk, green investments, ESG challenges or opportunities or policymaking (Paris Campus, starting September 2023). He/She/They will be a part of the department of "Finance".

About the department
The department of "Finance" consists of over 30 full-time academic staff who is involved in several programs, with many of them including topics related to sustainable finance, green finance or climate finance, for instance the Grande Ecole Program, the MSc in Finance, the MSc in Banking, Capital Markets and Financial Technology, the Apprenticeship program in Financial Institutions: Risk, Compliance, and Data Analytics as well as the Executive Program in Financial Management. The School provides ample resources to support a variety of research interests and activities (Business Source Complete, WRDS, CRSP, Refinitiv Tick History, Refinitiv Workspace, Datastream and Bloomberg among others). About the positions
The selected candidates will teach courses in finance, part of which with a particular focus on sustainable finance at the undergraduate, graduate and/or postgraduate level. In addition, he/she/they will contribute to the development of the Department's programs. We are looking for candidates with strong teaching skills and who are fluent in English, as most courses are taught in this language. Knowledge of French is a plus, but not a requirement.

More specifically, we are looking for the following profiles:
- 1 Assistant/Associate Professor (full time): Research will be a strong focus of the selected candidate as he/she/they will contribute to the vibrant research community at IESEG through their commitment to research excellence. He/she/they is therefore expected to hold a PhD, have a strong publication record (or potential for Assistant Professors) in top-tier refereed journals listed in AJG, as well as a good international network.
- 1 Professor of Practice (Lecturer) (part time): Teaching will be the main focus of the selected candidate. Professional experience is required in the area of sustainable finance (notably in climate risk, green investments, ESG challenges and opportunities or policymaking), as we are particularly looking for candidates who can contribute to the school's development and its students through their professional experience.
