Nominations have opened for the 2022 Environmental Finance Bond Awards, which celebrate the leading green, social, sustainability and sustainability-linked (GSSS) bond and loan deals and recognise significant market participants.
The deadline for entries is 7 February.
Now in its seventh year, the 2022 awards include 69 updated categories to recognise the remarkable GSSS bond issuers, lead managers, investors, external reviewers, and personalities in what was another record-breaking 2021 for the sustainable fixed income market.
Among the changes in 2022 are the inclusion of the sovereign sustainability bond of the year category amid a rapid acceleration in sovereign issuance in 2021 and additional updates to existing categories.
The awards are reviewed by an independent panel of judges from the investment community with the winners announced on Environmental Finance at the end of March both online and in print.
The 2022 awards follow on from the success of the 2021 Environmental Finance Bond Awards which attracted more than 400 entries from a diverse range of market participants, with the winner list revealing the depth of innovation in the market.
