Nuveen has been awarded Impact report of the year award for its Global Fixed Income Impact Report 2024, which was "well organised" and included a broad "mix of case studies to illustrate impactful projects", according to the award's judging panel.

For each individual investment, the report outlines the impact objective, eligible projects and expected outputs, with a regional focus for issuers, themes and Sustainable Development Goal alignment.

Nuveen's global fixed income impact strategy invests in affordable housing, community and economic development, renewable energy and climate change, and natural resources, spanning four pillars. Its team manages $10.3 billion of impact securities, as of 31 December 2024.

For its 2024 report, Nuveen introduced a 'Data Deep Dive', providing insight of the green, social and sustainable issues facing both global economies and local communities. The section provides data-driven analysis on industry topics to inform investors of the broader socioeconomic and environmental trends influencing investment decision-making.
