RBC was chosen by judges as the winner of this year's 'Lead manager of the year, social bonds – US muni bonds. The bank has been involved in a number of high-profile issuances during 2024.

It was lead manager on a $495 million fundraising for three series of single-family mortgage bonds for Michigan State Housing Development Authority, the largest bond deal in its history. Proceeds of the bonds were to be used to fund over 3,100 mortgages and down-payment assistance loans.

RBC was also a lead manager on North Dakota Housing Finance Agency's $200 million social bond issuance for its FirstHome Programme, which aims to reduce barriers to homeownership for first-time buyers with low or moderate incomes.
