Environmental Finance's Sustainable Debt Awards 2026

Green bond fund of the year: Amundi Responsible Investing - Impact Green Bond

Celebrating its tenth birthday this year, the Amundi Responsible Investing – Impact Green Bond strategy combines longevity with contribution to positive climate impact.

The asset manager claims its flagship green bond strategy is "associated with 145 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent emissions avoided per €1 million invested".

It holds several labels, including France's Greenfin and Belgium's Towards Sustainability.

Each bond in the portfolio is assigned an internal sustainability score that determines its eligibility and the fund's managers can place a bond on a watch list if weaknesses are identified.

Routine checks one year after issuance assess the availability and quality of allocation or impact reporting, as well as a "regular review of the issuer's ESG trajectory", and daily controversy screening – complemented by active engagement with issuers to improve ESG practices, the fund manager says.

An Environmental Finance Sustainable Debt Awards judge praised the fund for its "consistency" over 10 years and for its "scalable structure".
