Builders Vision – the family office Lukas Walton – has been named family office of the year at the 2025 Environmental Finance IMPACT Investment Awards.

Builders Vision has committed $15 billion to environmental causes in the last decade. In the past year, Builders Vision has reaffirmed its appetite for impact investing with a particular focus on the blue economy, food and agriculture, and clean energy.

Walton was vocal throughout the UN's Ocean Conference early this year, encouraging investors to back ocean impact, whilst Builders Vision actively participated in thought leadership and market insight research.

One deal included a $70 million credit-risk guarantee for a nature-bond in the Bahamas, co-developed with the Inter-American Development Bank.

Additionally, in 2024, the family's foundation issued $106 million in environmental grants.
