IMPACT Investment Awards 2025

Fund of the year - listed equity: Jupiter Ecology Fund

Launched in 1988, Jupiter Ecology Fund claims to be one of the UK's longest-standing sustainable equity funds.

A proprietary classification system is used to identify stocks, including six themes, 26 sub-themes, 107 solution activities, which it says are backed by science-based frameworks. More than 70% of the fund is invested in 'environmental solution companies', delivering transparent and quantifiable outcomes in emissions avoided, water treated, waste reduced and land preserved.

It claims to employ "deep stewardship, including high-profile engagements on governance, capital allocation, and environmental risk [and has a] proven record of divesting where misalignment persists".

Judges highlighted the fund's experienced management team, formal stewardship process, and measurable impact reporting.
