For its third year, Patron Capital has been awarded Impact project/investment of the year – real estate, for its gender-lens social impact real estate fund.
Aiming to create 122 homes over the fund's lifetime, benefitting more than 2,300 women, the fund has now acquired this quantity of properties and is fully realised. The majority of these have been passed on to their fund's housing partners.
As of November 2025, the fund houses more than 650 women and children, and all properties have been acquired and mostly handed over to the fund's housing partners. Almost all (96%) of tenants revealed that the homes have suitably met their needs.
Launched in partnership with social impact property fund manager Resonance in 2020, the fund has raised £29 million ($38.5 million) from a collection of 20 impact investors, including Better Society Capital and Guy's and St Thomas' Foundation. One notable commitment came in 2021, via the Church of England's first 'social impact' commitment.
