Global Alpha says its detailed reporting, including all three Scopes of greenhouse gas emissions, financed emissions, and contribution of holdings to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, shows the effectiveness of its investments and engagement.

It presents examples of proxy voting and outcomes of direct engagement with portfolio companies, and details of its own ESG scoring of companies, aspects it says show the "real-world application" of its sustainable investment beliefs.

Recent innovations include its development of a 'climate roadmap' to monitor the climate performance of its portfolio holdings, across Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, as well as holdings' net-zero and carbon neutrality commitments, whether targets are validated by the Science Based Targets initiative, and interim emissions reduction objectives.

The asset manager voluntarily completed the full Principles for Responsible Investment assessment for 2024, despite this year's reporting being optional.
