MetLife Investment Management's reporting for the LO Funds – Global Climate Bond strategy stood out to the Sustainable Investment Awards judges for the depth and granularity of the information it provided.

Focused on the $439 million strategy, MetLife Investment Management's eighth annual impact report combined portfolio-level metrics with project-level case studies to give investors a detailed view of the environmental and social outcomes associated with their investments.

The report combined quantitative analysis and qualitative case studies, alongside clear explanations of methodologies, data coverage and limitations.

MetLife Investment Management conducted its own data collection using a proprietary impact data management system to house and aggregate the impact data. It also assessed portfolio alignment with the Paris Agreement, the EU Taxonomy and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Sustainable Investment Awards judges highlighted the high level of impact-related detail that the report captured for labelled bond investments.
