Gender Equality and Diversity & Inclusion
Equileap holistically measures a company’s gender equality and diversity & inclusion performance based on its proprietary Gender Equality Scorecard™, including 21 main indicators and 48 sub-metrics on:
- Gender balance across the workforce
- Gender pay gap
- Paid parental leave
- Anti-sexual harassment policies
- Policies to support gender equality, such as flexible working, training and career development, non-discrimination in recruitment, and more
- Human rights, including living wages and health and safety

Where and how do you source your data?
Equileap has implemented a clearly documented, rules-based data collection and assessment process. The Equileap research team conducts its research by assessing publicly available information such as corporate sustainability reports, annual reports, filings, company websites, etc. The team also tracks gender-related controversies. Assessments undergo a rigorous quality assurance process, including peer review. In addition, companies are given the opportunity to directly engage with analysts during the annual research update and are invited to review a data validation report.
