Brief description of the data offering
SAP Fioneer's ESG KPI Engine enables financial institutions to configure, calculate, and control ESG and climate-related KPIs through a standardized, auditable data orchestration process. It integrates internal data (e.g., exposures, sector classifications) with external ESG and nature sources, applies AI-based validation to detect inconsistencies, and performs framework-aligned calculations (e.g., PCAF, GHG Protocol).
The solution supports historization of results and provides change driver analysis to track and explain variations in portfolio emissions over time. It enables banks to comply with regulatory frameworks such as CSRD, Pillar 3, and ISSB, while also delivering insights for internal steering and net-zero alignment.
Where and how do you source your data?
Identify and collect data from internal sources (eg. FinanceDWH, ETL layers,...). Close data gaps by sourcing from environmental, social, and governance (ESG) data vendors and use granular data proxies if data is not available. Data source: all external data providers can be ingested into our engine, including a technical integration to our solution to automate the data flow, if needed.
What is the cost for your data offering?
Costs are based on the size and complexity of the client's portfolio, and for that reason, pricing has to be assessed on an individual level, by request.
