Brief description of the data offering

Minerva’s Say on Sustainability Research Framework empowers investors to embed sustainability governance into their stewardship strategies. By integrating environmental and social factors into voting and engagement, the framework supports a holistic, integrated stewardship approach to ESG.

For over a decade, Minerva has led the way in embedding sustainability governance into proxy research. Our proprietary Say on Sustainability assessment tool distils company disclosures into clear, comparable insights—tracking sustainability actions, performance data, accountability, and commitments. This analysis is refreshed annually to align with shareholder reporting cycles, particularly around AGMs. It also enables benchmarking across peers, markets, and portfolios.

Minerva’s research incorporates climate change factors to help investors meet their net-zero and climate-aligned investment goals. We assess corporate climate transition plans for alignment with science-based targets—halving greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 and achieving net zero by 2050—to support the 1.5°C global warming limit.

Our award-winning platform ensures seamless integration of this data into investment workflows, enabling clients to assess climate risk and sustainability performance with confidence.

The Say on Sustainability Framework evaluates:

  • Corporate governance quality and shareholder sentiment (e.g. AGM dissent);
  • ESG risk management, including climate change and executive alignment;
  • Disclosure alignment with global frameworks such as:
    • UN Global Compact
    • IFRS and TCFD
    • Transition Pathway Initiative (TPI)

Minerva’s approach is grounded in transparency, comparability, and accountability—helping investors turn sustainability data into actionable stewardship.
