Data is primarily sourced from publicly available information, including a company’s own disclosure, proxy statements, reputable news, governmental and international institutions, recognised international or local non-governmental organizations, and non-biased subscription databases.
Director data and Compensation data are driven by publicly disclosed filings and annual reports to ensure consistency.
Voting Analytics Data is primarily sourced from publicly available information, including public filings, press releases, and company websites. Mutual fund voting records are sourced from the SEC's N-PX filings (for US mutual funds) and other public sources (for non-US funds).

Planned future enhancements:

What trends are you seeing in terms of customer demand?
The trend of increasing interest for raw ESG data stems from two developments: Some investors want to take ratings and scores apart to understand drivers but also to create unique methodologies, others are shifting away from catch-all ESG scores and ratings and take a more selective approach focusing on specific themes, such as modern slavery, cyber security, physical risks, director compensation, sanctions, etc. The ISS STOXX raw data offering allows clients here to pick topics that are seen as material to investments, also by investors without an explicit ESG commitment.
