Brief description of the data offering

Frontierra is an international geospatial intelligence and analytics data provider that uses satellite data, AI, and machine learning to assess and manage climate and nature-related risks for financial institutions, corporates, governments and consultancies. Our cloud-based Climate & Nature Platform delivers location-specific insights across 35 physical climate hazards (including extreme weather, sea-level rise, and wildfire) modelled across multiple scenarios and time horizons in line with ISSB (TCFD) and EU Taxonomy requirements, alongside satellite-derived nature-related risk and opportunity assessments aligned to TNFD and SBTN, deforestation monitoring for EUDR compliance, and geospatial value-chain mapping to support pre-acquisition due diligence, ongoing portfolio management, and regulatory disclosure.

Where and how do you source your data?

Frontierra sources its climate and nature data from open-source datasets selected for global coverage and best-in-class accuracy. For climate insights, the platform uses forward-looking climate projections modelled across four IPCC scenarios (SSP1-2.6, SSP2-4.5, SSP3-7.0, SSP5-8.5) out to 2100, drawn from reputable scientific models where available. Where modelled projections don't exist for a given hazard, Frontierra supplements with historical observation data and applies proprietary logic-based risk assessments.

For nature insights, data sources include globally recognised datasets covering protected areas, biodiversity indices (MSA and BII), habitat connectivity, biomes, natural lands, deforestation fronts, and water stress — all selected to align with TNFD's LEAP framework and SBTN guidance.

In both cases, assessments are conducted through intersectional geospatial analysis: asset locations are provided as GIS polygons, and each polygon is cross-referenced against the relevant climate or nature dataset to determine the presence and magnitude of risk at that specific location.

What is the cost for your data offering?

Starting from GBP£7,500 for up to 50 locations.
