Brief description of the data offering

The Climate Bonds Social and Sustainability Bond Dataset is a comprehensive list of all labelled bonds with proceeds going to green and/or social categories. The Climate Bonds Initiative collects, assesses, and provides high-quality social and sustainability bond data to a broad range of global market players such as indices, regulators, stock exchanges, asset managers, and asset owners.

The data is available to partners through our Network Membership Programme. We deliver the latest issuance data to our partners on a monthly basis, either via email or SFTP, client’s preference.

Where and how do you source your data?

Climate Bonds screens self-labelled debt instruments to identify bonds and other debt instruments as eligible for inclusion in the Social and Sustainability Bond Dataset. Eligibility is assessed against the criteria set out in the Climate Bonds Initiative Social and Sustainability Bond Dataset Methodology. Sufficient issuance information needs to be publicly available in order for us to assess the Use of proceeds allocation against the methodology, whilst running checks for minimum safeguards from a climate perspective.

What is the cost for your data offering?

We provide pricing packages within our Network Membership suite, catered to your organisational needs and use case. Please reach out to [email protected] if you are interested in subscribing to Climate Bonds data.
