LandScale provides a set of field-tested and widely consulted Indicators and Metrics, detailed guidance, a data resource library, a local and global results validation mechanism, and an interactive dashboard to publish results. Conducting a LandScale assessment can help impact investors with the ambition to deliver impact at landscape scale to credibly assess and report progress to key stakeholders. Our free searchable database of completed LandScale assessments can provide corporates and financial institutions with valuable insights regarding ESG risks and opportunities in their regions of interest.

Where and how do you source your data?

Data is sourced and metric results calculated by the organisations that decide to conduct an assessment using the LandScale system. LandScale provides detailed, field-tested guidance to ensure that the data is of sufficient quality and that it is collected and analyzed accurately. Assessment teams have access to a comprehensive database of data collection tools and secondary data sets. The LandScale validation mechanism includes review of each step in the assessment process by the LandScale team, as well as a review of results by local experts.

What is the cost for your data offering?

Results of published assessments are freely available on the LandScale platform https://www.landscale.org/view-landscapes/

The cost to use the LandScale platform and for the results validation service is $15,000 per landscape, per assessment. This does not include the cost of the human resources required to conduct the assessment.
