Brief description of the data offering

Using Planet Tracker’s Seafood Database, you can identify to what extent companies are exposed to overfishing, illegal fishing, and many other ocean sustainability risks, and compare their environmental health with their financial health.

Our database currently include 50 indicators for 100 companies, as well as data on all countries and 750 species.

Where and how do you source your data?

Our data comes from companies themselves, or derived from third parties such as Sea Around Us, Global Fishing Index, Fish Source or the World Benchmarking Alliance. Company-specific data is computed based on published or estimated exposure by species, country or fishery.

What is the cost for your data offering?

All of our research and data is free and public.
