Where and how do you source your data?
PortageBay captures ESG data from company sustainability reports, annual reports, sustainability auditor reports, policy documents, websites, and other publicly available documents.
PortageBay cleans and transforms the raw data to the ISSB/SASB standard. This means investors have consistent and comparable data. Additionally, PortageBay presents alternative data to provide investors with a 360 view perspective, reducing reliance on voluntary corporate disclosure, to reduce greenwashing risk.
PortageBay’s data is auditable to the source documents. Our data collection program combines proprietary NLP technologies with human verification.
