Brief description of the data offering

As investors continue to integrate Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) criteria into their investment and reporting frameworks, issuers are finding it critical to track, verify and optimize for these factors, not only to drive demand for upcoming offerings, but also to mitigate future market and regulatory risks

HIP Investor’s ESG Rating methodology utilizes measurable and quantitative factors to show data-driven impact results for municipal and corporate Issuers or Issuances, benchmarked against competitors within the same industry.

Where and how do you source your data?

HIP Investor’s proprietary, evidence-based scoring methodology maps to Impact, ESG and the UN SDGs. Our comprehensive corporate ESG data is secured and aggregated from multiple sources. This includes publicly available corporate data sources, as well as other data collected by the HIP team from sources such as The American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) and the Human Rights Campaign (HRC). HIP updates its ratings monthly to include the most relevant metrics and capture companies with different reporting cycles to disclose on impact, ESG and SDG metrics. HIP strives to utilize the most recently available data to provide the investor with the most up to date disclosures available.

What is the cost for your data offering?

Prices for Issuer HIP Impact, ESG, and SDG Ratings and Benchmarking start at $10,000 and can be benchmarked to your peers, covering 11,000 corporations globally across 85 nations, or 120,000 municipal entities.
