Brief description of the data offering

InfluenceMap’s unique corporate climate policy engagement analysis provides the only systematic analysis of the topic worldwide. Our Lobbying and Corporate Influence Analysis accurately assesses, ranks and communicates the extent to which corporations are lobbying climate and energy policy worldwide. Whether as a risk indicator, metric for fund construction or engagement tool, our metrics are an essential part of the climate risk assessment toolbox.

Where and how do you source your data?

To measure and score corporate influence on climate change policy, InfluenceMap has developed a comprehensive process of examining publicly available information through reliable data sources. This information is then used to test a set of queries across data sources for each organization (e.g. position on a carbon tax, energy efficiency standards, etc.).

What is the cost for your data offering?

A subset of our data is freely available on www.lobbymap.org. Access to the full dataset is provided through our Corporate Lobbying Metrics Service. Please contact us for pricing information.
