At SGS we have been providing independent assurance of ESG Disclosures and Sustainability Reports for 25+ years, helping to increase the confidence of stakeholders in the content and accuracy of disclosures and reports aligning to both AA1000 and ISAE3000 standards. Our technical experts verify data quality and accuracy to increase the value of disclosures with trusted and comparable data aligned to guiding market principles and regulation.
There are three key options:
- Verification of your whole sustainability report.
- Part of the report or selected Key Performance Indicators and/or Sustainable Performance Targets, such as verification of emissions.
- Against a standard/framework, including GRI, SASB and TCFD.

Our sources of information are multichannel depending on the scope of the assurance required, combining data gathered from (i) public sources, press content and stakeholders, and (ii) information provided from the corporate through documentation and senior management interviews.
