Where and how do you source your data?
The Carbon Trust uses a selection of free-access and license-based data from academic, financial, and governmental sources. The data originates from third-party climate models, tools, as well as integrated assessment models that consider changes in climatic conditions and socioeconomic developments across different scenarios, which we use to analyse exposure and vulnerability to both physical and transition risks. Based on the above sources, we also developed a proprietary database of forward-looking indicators for assessing and monitoring climate risks and opportunities.
