Brief description of the data offering

The Net Zero Finance Tracker is a collaborative platform aiming to assess the alignment of public and private finance with Paris Agreement goals at national and global levels. By consolidating scattered data from various sources, the tracker evaluates progress across three dimensions: Targets, Integration, and Flows. Targets track commitment and initiatives influencing future capital alignment; Integration measures climate considerations integrated into decision-making processes; and Flows track allocated finance to climate solutions. Progress is evaluated according to an alignment taxonomy (‘Non-Aligned’ through to ‘Fully Aligned’), the methodology for which is available on the website that presents the data. The data points that were used to determine this alignment categorisation are also available in the dataset for complete transparency.
