Brief description of the data offering
Fund Due Diligence reports provide Ethical Screening's independent assessment that a collective investment fund is complying with its responsible investment objective. The assessment verifies that policies are implemented in practice, by examining and reporting on the holdings in the fund. Unexpected investments are also highlighted. The report provides the reassurance of an expert third-party, confirming fund is aligned to the objective and therefore not undertaking green washing.
We can also analyse the holdings as consistent with the proposed FCA fund labels, and suggest which label is appropriate to the fund. At the time of writing such reports are based on current draft documentation from the FCA, but will be amended when regulations are finalised.
Where and how do you source your data?
We have a dedicated and highly qualified team of researchers who collate information from available sources to build an accurate picture of a Fund's policies and objectives. Funds are assessed using the publicly available documentation, and our proprietary methodology contacting fund managers where appropriate. Underlying companies are analysed using Ethical Screening's ESG, SDG and Ethical research methodologies.
What is the cost for your data offering?
A typical report cost is £1,000 per fund ex VAT.
