The European ESG Template, developed by FinDatEx, is a fund-level reporting template for asset managers that distribute funds in the European Union and need to comply with ESG-related regulatory requirements covered in the SFDR, EU Taxonomy, MiFID II, & IDD.
ISS ESG has mapped the European ESG Template requirements to data points covered by its proprietary ESG solutions to assist fund distributors and intermediaries with completing the European ESG Template.
ISS ESG’s SFDR PAI and EU Taxonomy Alignment Solutions can be leveraged to complete the regulatory fields of the European ESG Template. In addition, ISS ESG's European ESG Template screening data set provides relevant data points that cover the sector-based exclusion elements of the European ESG Template and clients can choose which topics within the screening section to complete. The data is accessible via ISS ESG’s proprietary DataDesk platform or via SFTP file delivery to complete the European ESG Template internally. Clients can also work with several partner organizations for European ESG Template completion and dissemination using ISS ESG data.
