Where and how do you source your data?
Mapbuilder pulls data from WRI’s Global Forest Watch and Resource Watch, and allows the user to upload their own, to create live monitoring applications.
What is the cost for your data offering?
No cost. All WRI data are free and open to use for any user’s analysis as long as use complies with the licensing and restrictions of the source data providers. Data from both Global Forest Watch and Resource Watch rigorous data collection process, guided by WRI’s independent, nonpartisan experts. Data on these platforms must come from established sources and be peer-reviewed or based on a transparent established methodology.
