Environmental Finance senior reporter Genevieve Redgrave has been honoured with a prestigious journalism award.
She was named Journalist of the Year: Sustainable Investment & Stewardship in the annual State Street UK Institutional Press Awards. She was also named a runner-up in the Journalist of the Year: Pensions category.
The articles for which she won recognition are an exploration of the data landscape for nature and a feature on how pension funds are approaching nature.
The awards, which are in their twenty-fourth year, recognise outstanding contributions to institutional financial services journalism. Winning articles were chosen for their style, content, accuracy and timeliness by an independent panel of six industry professionals.
Peter Cripps, editor of Environmental Finance, said: “Natural capital is a core area for us at Environmental Finance, and I am delighted that Genevieve’s hard work in this space has been recognised by the judges.
“We believe we have an important role to play in shining a light on the ways in which environmental considerations are material to institutional investors, and winning the approval of a panel of experts in such prestigious awards is most welcome. Well done, Genevieve!”
