The winners of the 2025 Environmental Finance Sustainable Company Awards have been revealed, recognising the companies leading the way in embedding sustainability into their core business practices and driving systemic change.
Chosen by a panel of more than 35 independent industry experts, this year's awards attracted hundreds of entries from across the globe, highlighting a growing commitment to sustainable business transformation.
Green Initiative and Lagos Free Zone led the way, both securing two awards this year.
Leadership in sustainability was also celebrated: Norfolk Southern's chief sustainability officer, Josh Raglin, is named Sustainable business leader of the year, while Namita Vikas, founder and managing director of auctusESG, is named Sustainability thought leader of the year. Green Initiative's technical lead Erika Rumiche Hernández receives the Rising Star of the Year award.
The awards recognise achievements across a range of critical areas, including sustainability reporting, net-zero progress, nature-based solutions, water stewardship, supply chain sustainability, and circular economy initiatives.
