Fitch: Utilities more exposed to transition risk than physical risk in 2°C scenario
The portfolios of energy companies are far more vulnerable to sudden changes in environmental, social and governance (ESG)-related policies and regulation than to the actual physical effects of climate change in the event of a less than 2°C warming scenario, according to ratings agency Fitch.
