ISS ESG announces environmental, social QualityScore update

Morningstar has paid the Australian financial regulator AUD29,820 ($19,612) after it alleged the company retained exposure to weapons manufacturers via its ESG-themed funds despite claiming it excluded such companies.

The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has again delayed the adoption of its climate disclosures rule, to push back a final decision until April next year.

The Australian sovereign green bond framework has included climate adaptation and nature projects among its eligible activities alongside the more familiar climate mitigation projects, as the country moves closer to its mid-2024 market debut.
