Voting begins in 14th annual Environmental Finance rankings

Voting has opened in the annual Environmental Finance market rankings – the largest and most closely watched survey of the world's environmental markets.

The publication is soliciting votes for the best brokers, trading companies, banks, law firms, consultants and project developers in the carbon, renewable energy, weather and catastrophe risk markets.

Last year, more than 1,000 votes were cast.

This year, we have expanded the rankings to cover the fast-growing US market in Renewable Identification Numbers and the emerging carbon markets in China.

Also, for the first time, we will be polling the Australian and Asian weather risk markets separately.

The results will be included in the Winter print issue of Environmental Finance, which will be published in early December.

A separate survey will be conducted in 2014 of the voluntary carbon market, with the results to feature in the Spring issue of Environmental Finance.

Voting is open until 31 October, and is only open to companies that participate in the markets in which they are voting.
