The winners of the 2025 Environmental Finance IMPACT Investment Awards have been announced.
The annual awards aim to recognise and reward the work of impact investors and highlight best practice and thought leadership across all asset classes and geographies.
An independent panel of impact investment experts chose winners based on information relating to the period between 1 September 2024 to 30 September 2025.
Among this year's notable winners were:
- Philippe Zaouati, founder and chief executive office of Mirova, who was named Personality of the year, as judges recognised the firm's leading role in the sustainable finance community.
- The Nature Conservancy (TNC) was the judges' choice in three categories this year, winning Impact project/investment of the year: biodiversity and ecosystems, Impact project/investment of the year: oceans and coastal zones, and NGO/charity/non-profit of the year, for its involvement in several high-profile nature bond transactions and debt-for-nature swaps within the awards eligibility period.
- The Young professional of the year/rising star award goes to Gratien Davasse, an associate in the Center of Expertise and Innovation at Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking's (CIB) Green & Sustainable Hub (GSH), who is working on several initiatives to advance how financial institutions understand and act on nature.
