EIB approves €345m green loan for Alperia
06 July 2026The European Investment Bank (EIB) has approved a green loan of up to €345 million ($394 million) for Italian utility Alperia to finance investments in renewable energy and energy infrastructure in Italy's South Tyrol.

11 July 2016Italian electricity utility Alperia has issued its first green bond, for a total of €225 million ($249 million). A further issue, of €150 million, is expected by the end of 2016, the company said.
