Japan's planned ETS has spurred carbon credit price rise, says government agency

High-emitting companies who are set to be in scope of Japan's national emissions trading system (ETS) from next year have already begun buying carbon credits and driven price rises, according to the head of Japan's Green Transformation (GX) Acceleration Agency.
