Japan's revised governance code a mixed bag, says L&G

Japan's overhauled Corporate Governance Code places more emphasis on shareholder dialogue, capital allocation and governance effectiveness than previously - but gaps include limiting key elements to 'illustrative guidance', L&G Asset Management said.
