European equity funds resort to 'brownwashing' as ESMA deadline hits, says Morningstar

Dozens of European equity funds have dropped ESG terms from their fund names in 2025, as the European Securities and Markets Authority's (ESMA) guidelines on fund names took effect, data from Morningstar has revealed.
