Issuers get taste for 'Wonton' green bond market

Foreign issuers are turning to the Hong Kong market for their green bond issuances amid "strong demand" for labelled sustainable bond instruments among local investors, with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and Standard Chartered both debuting public 'Wonton' green bonds this month.
