Investors need climate data, says senator supporting NY climate risk disclosure bill

Institutional investors are among the most vociferous backers of US climate risk disclosures even if the country's federal government "seem[s] to be getting out of the climate business, and the climate data collection business," a New York state senator backing a proposed reporting bill has said.
